How long have you been breeding Yorkies?

Priceless Yorkie Puppy was established in 2007. Our breeding program has been developed around the qualities we value most in a Yorkshire Terrier: beautiful temperament, excellent health, correct structure, tiny size, and our signature baby-doll expression.

Do you have a Health Guarantee?

Yes, we have an one-year health guarantee that covers genetic and hereditary conditions.

How much do your puppies cost?

Our puppies are individually priced and generally range from $3,500 to $7,500+. Pricing varies because no two puppies are identical. Factors may include birth weight, estimated mature size, structure, facial features, overall quality, and the amount of additional care a puppy may require and the amount of intervention required.

How big will my puppy be?

Birth weight is an indication of adult weight and we use that as a prediction of what our puppies will be as adults. We will give you the weight of both parents so you can take that into consideration. Our puppies average 2-4 lbs full grown based on the adult weight of tour breeding dogs. We also weigh our puppies weekly so you are well informed on how your puppy is growing and the expected adult weight.

Do you dock tails?

Yes, we dock tails on all of our puppies and remove dew claws.

Will my puppy be up to date on vaccines and wormed?

Yes, our Yorkie puppies will be UTD on age-appropriate vaccines as well as several worming treatments when you receive your puppy.

Are your Yorkie puppies veterinarian checked?

Yes, all of our puppies are Veterinarian exam-checked before leaving for their forever home.

Can I pre-reserve a puppy?

Yes, we accept pre-reservation fees for our puppies are most of our babies are pre-reserved prior to birth. This is beneficial for us because it allows us to know exactly where our puppies will go as soon as they are born.

Is my reservation fee to reserve a puppy refundable?

No, a hold fee is 100% non-refundable regardless of circumstances or reasons. This is non-negotiable. The holding fee is to reserve your place in line to pick a puppy from our upcoming litters and signifies your intention to purchase a puppy from Priceless Yorkie Puppy. It will be applied to the puppy's purchase price. If you have a change of circumstance of any kind, we will not refund any hold fee. This is non-negotiable for any reason.

Do you offer AKC registration papers or breeding rights?

No, we do not offer registration papers to register our puppies under any circumstances this is non-negotiable. Our puppies are sold as “PET ONLY”. We DO NOT offer BREEDING RIGHTS! All of our Yorkies are RKF ( Russian Kynological Federation), or AKC ( American Kennel Club) registered and we are more than happy to share our dogs pedigrees when you purchase a puppy from us.

Are your prices negotiable?

No, we believe the quality of our Yorkies speaks for themselves and well worth the investment. Our pricing is non-negotiable.

How often do you update with photos of my puppy?

We offer photos and or videos a minimum of weekly till our puppies leave for their new homes but typically we provide daily updates via Facebook.

How do I get my puppy if I live out of state?

Buyers are welcome to fly into Michigan and we can meet you at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) which is an hour from our home in Jackson, Michigan. You can take a rental car and come to our home and pick up your puppy and see our dogs in person and where your puppy was raised or we offer courier service and can fly your puppy to the closest airport in the state where you live. This service is a cost of $350 and covers the cost the airline charges to bring a pet on board which is $150. The $200 covers our time, travel expenses including airport parking, gas to and from the airport, meals while traveling, and our time.

How do I get the process started to get my Yorkie puppy?

We first require all potential puppy customers to fill out our Priceless Yorkie Puppy Application and then we will contact you to let you know what puppies we currently have available or what the expected wait time will be. If we do not have any puppies currently available you are welcome to be added to our waiting list. To be added to our waiting list, we require a $500 holding fee to be added.

Can you keep my baby past the pick-up age of the puppy? What happens if we have an upcoming family vacation around the same time as pickup?

We will hold a puppy past the expected pick-up date typically at 12 weeks for a $100 weekly boarding fee due prior to extending the 12-week pickup date. If you cannot pick up your puppy on the agreed-upon date for any reason, the puppy will be put back up for sale with o refund of any money applied to the puppy. We will charge $45 per day starting on the next calendar day after failed pickup, for boarding until you do pick your puppy up.

What information should I research prior to pickup of my puppy?

See our documents listed under "Health Information" for educational information we feel is important for our buyers to know before you receive your puppy from us.

Do you require me to spay/neuter my puppy and at what age?

We require all of our puppies to be neutered or spayed by the age of 6 months. This is non-negotiable. We require this so there is no potential that our puppies could accidentally become pregnant or will be used in any form of breeding. Once a female dog comes into heat she cannot be spayed for at least 1-2 months afterward due to swollen blood vessels so this timeline prevents any complications. Neutering/spaying of a dog prevents the potential for marking and or humping behavior in female and male dogs

Do you do any health testing on the parents?

Yes, we health test our Yorkies all of our breeding dogs are veterinarian health checked by our vet, full blood panel with bile acids to check for liver shunt a breed-specific health condition Yorkies are prone to. Each of our Yorkies knees are checked for luxating patella which can cause displacement of the knee cap and make walking difficult to make ensure our dogs do not pass on this genetic fault to their offspring. We have started to do genetic Embark DNA testing on our dogs which rules out over 216 different genetic disorders and diseases.

Are your puppies potty trained?

Young puppies are still learning. We begin age-appropriate routines and encourage good habits, but families should expect to continue consistent house-training after bringing their puppy home. Tiny puppies also have small bladders and may require more frequent opportunities to potty than larger breeds.

How much is the hold fee to reserve a puppy?

A $500 non-refundable puppy hold fee is required to reserve an available Yorkie puppy.

A puppy is not considered reserved until the required purchase agreement has been completed and the hold fee has been received. Once reserved, that puppy is removed from availability and held exclusively for that family.

Can I purchase a puppy without speaking with you?

No. We do not place our puppies without personally speaking with the prospective family.

We often have several conversations before placement because we believe choosing the right puppy should involve more than simply completing an online transaction. We want you to have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the puppy, and feel confident about your decision.

What happens after I choose my puppy?

Once you have been approved and selected an available puppy, we will walk you through the reservation process, purchase agreement, remaining balance, pickup or delivery arrangements, and preparation for your puppy’s arrival. Our goal is for you to feel completely prepared before your new baby comes home.

What does “teacup Yorkie” mean?

“Teacup” is a commonly used descriptive term for an exceptionally small Yorkshire Terrier. It is not a separate breed or separate AKC recognized size variety. Because mature size can never be guaranteed with complete certainty in a young puppy, any adult weight estimate is exactly that—an estimate based on genetics, current growth, parents, structure, and development. Our tiny Yorkies commonly attract families looking for puppies expected to mature in the approximately 2–4 pound range, although every puppy develops individually.

Can you guarantee my puppy’s adult weight?

No responsible breeder can guarantee an exact adult weight. We can provide our best estimate based on the puppy’s growth pattern, parents, pedigree, birth weight, current weight, bone structure, and years of experience raising Yorkies. Genetics can still surprise us.

Do I need to complete an application?

Yes. All prospective families are required to complete our Puppy Adoption Application.

The application helps us learn more about your household, experience with small dogs, lifestyle, expectations, and what you are looking for in your ideal companion.

Completing an application does not automatically guarantee approval or guarantee placement of a particular puppy.

Can I come meet a puppy before purchasing?

We welcome scheduled visits to approved prospective families. We also offer FaceTime visits, which are especially convenient for families purchasing from outside Michigan.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. Personal hand-delivery may be available nationwide. Delivery arrangements depend upon your location, the puppy, timing, and availability. Please contact us for individual arrangements and pricing
